Join us alongside other musicians, music groups, arts organisations, venues, businesses and representatives from Make Music Day UK on Thursday 30 January in Wymondham, to hear about how you can get involved in Make Music Day 2020.
At the meeting there will be an opportunity to hear more about Make Music Day and plans for 2020, discuss ways to get involved, network and form partnerships.
Make Music Day takes place across the globe on 21 June annually. Started in France in 1982 as Fête de la Musique, this celebration of music now takes place in over 120 countries on the summer solstice. It is a DIY festival of music and anyone can perform or organise an event. Events take place in venues and public spaces – from town squares to libraries, bandstands to school halls, pubs to train stations – all are free to attend.
(Numbers are limited so advance booking is essential).
For more information, contact Molly Dixon at molly@makemusicday.co.uk.
If you cannot attend but are interested in getting involved, please join the Make Music Day UK mailing list here.
