The Belfry Centre for Music & Arts in Overstrand near Cromer will be running two music courses in August 2017 for
children between the ages of 5-18 years. Staffed by enthusiastic and knowledgeable qualified music teachers, these courses have established themselves as a fun way to enjoy music in a relaxed environment. A combination of ensemble music-making, outdoor activities, sectional training and games, these courses are devised for players of all instruments to come along and join in. Senior Youth Music Course: Sunday 27 – Tuesday 29 August
This course is designed for students from 8-18 years who have reached Grade 5 or above on their chosen instrument. We will be working on some ensemble pieces for three days which will culminate with a concert. Highlights will include large ensemble training,
sectionals, workshops, special guests 10.00am-4.00pm each day.
£75.00 per student – Discount available for siblings.
Junior Youth Music Course: Wednesday 30 August – Friday 1 September
This course is designed for students aged 5 years and upwards who are Beginners – Grade 5 standard. We will have both large and small ensemble rehearsals which will be interspersed with games and breaks so the children don’t get too tired. There will be a short concert at the end for parents, family and friends. 10.00am-4.00pm each day.
