Worstead C of E Primary School was founded in 1845 and the village has historic connections with the wool trade. The school has a family feel – all year groups are friends with each other – and the choir reflects that. We LOVE to sing!
Most children who sing in the choir sing with us for their entire school life and they are all good friends. The fun and camaraderie abound as we sing, and the ties extend beyond Y6 as we welcome back our alumni to sing with us every week and for our performances.
We sing at school events, for the senior citizens in our community, at church services, in John Lewis at Christmas and in summer to raise money for charity. We also love to perform at the Norfolk County Music Festival, where we were awarded Outstanding this year.
