Join Rebecca for this practical session where we will cover Action planning and music development plans, assessment, progression, curriculum and look at what it is to be a ‘Music subject lead’ and make a success of this challenging role.

About Rebecca Beavis

Rebecca is a qualified primary teacher who has focused her career to date in primary music and creative arts education. She has over twenty five years’ experience of music teaching, training, curriculum/provision development and subject/project leadership in a variety of settings: Early years, primary, secondary and SEN.

After having lead the creative arts provision in a UK multi academy trust of seven schools for over ten years, she recently relocated to the Seychelles to lead on music in an international school. Amongst many awards she was awarded ‘Inspirational music teacher 2023’ at the ‘UK Music and Drama Education Awards’.
