Do you know of children who enjoy singing? This is the perfect day for them! Open to boys and girls aged 6-11, the day will consist of singing, musical games, lunch, with all the children joining together in the afternoon to sing a short service in the Cathedral, to which parents and families are warmly invited.
Parents are encouraged to come along to hear a presentation about what life as a Cathedral chorister is all about, to enjoy free tours of the Cathedral and to have the opportunity to look around Norwich School.
No previous singing experience is necessary – this is simply an opportunity for children to come along and enjoy the thrill of singing in the magnificent surroundings of the Cathedral.
Norwich Cathedral Choir enjoys a national and international reputation, singing daily choral services in the Cathedral. The event is open to all children of primary school age and will include:
- Presentation to parents about music at the Cathedral and Norwich School
- Outdoor games
- Tours of Norwich School and Norwich Cathedral
- Singing with the Master of Music, Ashley Grote
- The opportunity to join the boy and girl choristers singing choral evensong in the magnificent surroundings of Norwich Cathedral.
