Improvising, often called ‘making it up as you go along,’ is a fantastic way to explore music from within.
This session will focus on ideas to develop and improve skills, focusing on the musical setting. We will also consider ideas to hone and extend compositional skills through structured, age-appropriate steps. We will then explore our Digital Audio Workstation, YuStudio. Learn how to create, edit and produce your music tracks using YuStudio.
This software is fun and accessible for beginners and has the functionality to excite more experienced music tech students. Explore the flexible, ready-made units and see how to share YuStudio with students to support independent learning.
