Norfolk Music Hub are delighted to invite you to join in with a Secondary Vocal Celebration (formerly known as High School Choir’s Festival)!
We are inviting all key stage 3 and 4 students across the county of Norfolk to register to join us for our Covid recovery, well-being celebration at St Andrew’s Hall. The programme has been put together to support teenagers with songs that they will recognise, encourage positivity and celebrate what an impact music can have in our lives.
The concert will also showcase a new piece written by Emily Barden and students from across Norfolk about the county we live in, and a live performance of Phoenix Rising (a lockdown project with Orchestras Live, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and James Redwood).
Norfolk Music Hub are delighted to be partnering with Emily Barden, Lee Gibling,Orchestras Live, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, James Redwood, The Come and Sing Company and Viking Sound and Lighting to deliver this exciting opportunity.
As part of our Secondary Vocal Celebration 2021, Phoenix Rising (our Share-Sound 2021 ‘lock-down’ composition) will be performed live!
Following their debut virtual performance in July, Norfolk Hybrid Orchestra (NHO) joins together once more to perform live with members of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, James Redwood, tutors from Norfolk Music Service, and additional professional guest artists
We will be bringing NHO together for an in-person rehearsal on 30 October 2021 at The Arc, City of Norwich School. Thank you to those members of the original group who have already said that they can attend. We are also looking forward to welcoming some additional members to the NHO.
